Elvira Esmerelda Harkon is poised to inherit the throne of the Theocratic Kingdom of Lothen, an ancient nation whose royal family carries the Creator’s blood. In theory, the crown promises absolute authority over church, state, and a vast network of vassal states. In reality, Lothen is on the brink of collapse.The vassal states are beginning to fester, and long-buried sins return in the form of a banished, genetically altered race called the Wolfbred.
